Strong Ad/Weak Ad. In this week’s discussion board, find a strong commercial and a weak commercial to share with the class. Post a link to each ad (or embed them in your post). Observe the DB, and avoid posting ads that others have already posted! Your ads should use at least one the following techniques:
Animation (drawing or computer animated).
Music is main element of ad (uses a well-known or indie song)
In about one paragraph EACH for your strong and weak ads (so two paragraphs total), please explain what you thinks does/n’t work well. How do all of the elements come together for succes (or maybe they don’t)? Does this ad seem to support the brand’s typical messaging, or is this new or different for them? Who do you think that the target audience is, and does this ad make sense for them? Why or why not? What would you have changed, if anything? Any other observations that you made about these ads?
