The Diagnostic Essay

What are the joys and challenges of being a man OR a woman? (Choose one gender to focus on in your essay)
Is there a price to pay for having fame and fortune? (Explain in great detail)
What is fear and is it essential? (Provide concrete perspectives)
What can high school students do right now to prepare for adult life (Provide 1 or more perspectives)
In this essay, please do not use:
First person pronouns such as “I” and “we” unless you’re quoting/citing someone else’s use of them.
Second person pronouns such as “you” and “your” unless you’re quoting/citing someone else’s use of them.
Contractions such as “can’t” and “don’t” (and others) unless you’re quoting/citing someone else’s use of them.
Colloquial language, that is, use of everyday language that is spoken during discussion versus written formally.
Plagiarized ideas. If you choose to quote someone else’s published ideas, please cite appropriately… or avoid citing altogether since it is not required for this assignment.
