Do you think this can happen today? If so, why or why not? What you do to prevent it?

The video on Target illustrates the power of using artificial intelligence in the non healthcare environment and the embarassment that it can sometimes cause. There seems to be a tradeoff between personal privacy and the power of computing to aid in making decisions. What are your opinions about this? Do you think Target overstepped its bounds?
