1. In Chapter 1, Ethics, Truth and Reason, the text author says ” Sometimes, it is more important to travel than to arrive, and mostly what we gain from tackling a philosophical problem lies in a better understanding of the issues than in ananswer to the question.” What does this quote mean and do you agree or disagree with this statement and why.
2. What is the difference between Egoism and Hedonism as briefly noted by the text author at the end of Chapter 2? Although at first blush, persons acting exclusively in their own self-interest seems a poor ethical choice, what is the argument that this is not necessarily true?
