To begin, review the Research Paper Content Overview in the Research Paper module. Make sure you know what content is required in this component of your paper.
Next, review the Matching Source Types to Information Types in the Research Paper module. Make sure you know what type of source you will be searching for to write this component.
Finally, review the Research Paper Requirements in the Research Paper module. Make sure you know what APA style formatting conventions you should be using for this component. (Every component will require the correct font, spacing, and margins. Those components that are sharing information from sources always include in-text citations and a reference list.)
Now you’re ready to go find the sources for the disorder you are writing about. Remember, the paper must be 100% in your own words! Also remember that when you share information and concepts from your sources, you must give credit to the author with an in-text citation (and add that source to your reference list). The Etiology and Developmental Trajectory component should use a minimum of 3 sources and your text (excluding your reference list) should be between at least 3 pages in length.
