In Week 5, you shared potential topics and discussed what makes for a good topic. This week, you revisit your earlier ideas and begin to refine them as well as your thinking about them. The purpose of this Assignment is to get you thinking about potential topics early in your program as it is likely that you will change or refine the topic several times before you actually commit to the topic of research. Furthermore, you can take these potential topics with you to your first residency and get feedback on them from your residency and colleagues.
Write and submit a 2- to 3-page paper in which you do the following:
Based on what you learned in the Week 5 Discussion and elsewhere throughout this course, identify three potential topics for a doctorial Study.
Explain why they are appropriate for a Doctoral Study.
Explain your interest in them and how they tie to your personal and/or professional goals.
Identify the one topic that is most interesting to you at this time and explain why it stands out from the other two topics.
