To what extent and in what ways do you believe the environment in which you grew up shaped your current musical likes and dislikes?

Thread Prompt: Describe your relationship with music. Discussions are less formal than essays or papers, but you must still write in a cohesive fashion (i.e., don’t just write like-like answers to the prompt questions). Additionally, hyperbole is inappropriate for academic assignments, so please do not write some variation of “I would just die without music” (you wouldn’t) or “Music is literally my life” (it’s literally not). Questions to consider:
What musical experiences did you have as a child? What music did you hear during growing up? Did your preferences change as you grew up and if so, how and why?
What are your favorite or most meaningful songs/works?
To what extent did/do the following sources of identity shape your musical experiences: your Christian faith and worldview, ethnicity, age, social class, social class, geographic location?
Were there any other significant experiences in your life at this time that have a connection with music?
To what extent and in what ways do you believe the environment in which you grew up shaped your current musical likes and dislikes? How do you think this compares and contrasts with other students who are similar to you in terms of age, ethnicity, gender, and so forth?
Your post must be thorough and include at least three YouTube links to examples.
