This assignment asks you to take two papers you have written and combine them. Make them a readable, unified, 4-page paper.
You cannot, of course, just cut and paste; you have to connect the two papers you wrote and unify them into a coherent single paper. You will need to have a unifying theme or idea.
You have to supply transitions and successfully unify; the whole should be more than the sum of the parts.
Comparison and contrast is a simple, obvious effective format. But you can choose to organize the paper in another way if you decide that is best. You are developing your own writing–you are the author of your work.
Pro-tip: Sub-headings might help you and readers see the organization you are giving the paper.
Taking two chunks of writing to make a larger (and coherent) chunk is one of the basic acts of writing. This is good practice and we want you to try and see what you can do. How can you build on and develop a thought, an idea, an insight you have had? Trying, practice, is good.
