Case study- 2 Page minimum
Your case study should include an Introduction, Background, Presentation of Findings, and Conclusion. You want to be very specific in your subject description and set the stage for your case study. Identify the problem(s), suggest solutions, and recommend and explain the best solutions to be implemented. Before you get started, ask yourself the following questions:
What are your goals? What should your intended readers understand or learn after reading your case? Pick 1–5 realistic goals. The more goals you include, the more complex your case study might need to be.
Who is your audience? It would help if you wrote with them in mind.
What kind of background knowledge do they have? Very little, moderate, or a lot of knowledge. Be sure to explain special terms and jargon so that readers with minor to moderate knowledge can understand and enjoy your case study.
What narrative perspective will you use? A first-person perspective uses words such as “I” and” “we” to tell a story. A third-person perspective uses pronouns and names such as “they” or “CDC.” Be consistent throughout your case study.
The Introduction: The introduction should set the stage for the case study and state the thesis for the report. The intro must clearly articulate what the study’s intention is.
The Background: The background should detail what information brought the researcher to pose his hypothesis. It should clearly explain the subject or subjects, as well as their background information. And lastly, the background must give the reader a complete understanding of the issue at hand and what process will be taken with the study.
The Presentation of Findings: The findings should clearly explain how the topic was researched and summarize the results. Data should be summarized as simply as possible so that it is understandable by people without a scientific background.
The Conclusion: The purpose of the study isn’t necessarily to solve the problem, only to offer possible solutions. The final summary should be an end to the story.
Remember, the case study is about asking and answering questions. The conclusion should answer the question posed by the researcher but also leave the reader with questions of their own.
Include at least three references and five questions; your case study must use APA formatting style, which includes:
A title page with the title in the middle of the page
Page numbering in the upper right corner
Typed and double-spaced
Font size 12 using Times New Roman print
In-text citations in APA format (that means the source follows either the quote or the paraphrase of the information provided)
A reference page at the end (called References) in APA format.
