Of course the covid-19 outbreak has had a tremendous impact on mostly everyone. Working in a hospital brings even more stress to the situation since you are literally on the front lines. At the beginning I did not interact with anyone outside of my house and I also took a leave of absence from work since I have an underlying condition. I was full of anxiety and even more so when I had to go back to work and face patients recovering from or possibly being exposed to incoming patients that could be positive. I woulds sort of stay away from my kids for a few days after being at work because I wasn’t sure what I could’ve been bringing home. Healthcare workers were burned out and still are and we definitely are not looking forward to a possible second outbreak.
