the sociological imagination ask us to look beyond our own personal experiences and individualistic responses as casual explanation for social issues and problems. instead it asks us to see the role society plays in shaping social issues and problems. even knowing that social problems are influenced by the time and place in which they occur, what social problem or issue do you have difficulty examining without personal judgment? why? do you think you will be able to try to use the sociological imagination this semester.
