About me, the student:
I am in the chaplaincy seminary. My interest are helping the unchurched to know about the love of God. I was a probations corrections officer for almost ten years. I started ministering to the inmates: I taught them about the love of God, the Bible, I even helped to teach them to read and write with my patented word game. It was those experiences and many more that helped me to form my ministry (5 Talents More; www.DavidAnthonyJohnson.com). So, I do have a passion for the churched, who have been disillusioned and discouraged and the unchurched, to help disenfranchised and undervalued-by-society-folk. This info is useful for you to write the paper better.
Write a paper that generally defines and describes chaplaincyas a form of ministry. The folowing questions , or other s of similar nature, may be addressed as part of your description. How is it different from ministry in other areas, such as in churches and in para-church organizations? (But what is its connectionto those churches and groups?) What are the features of chaplaincy? What is its theological basis and philosophy of prctice?What is its legal goal? How will you know when it is effective?
