This week you will read a poem entitled, “Introduction to Poetry” by Billy Collins. After reading the poem, answer the following questions. Have your words ever been misinterpreted? Can indirect language like poetry ever be necessary or useful in conveying meaning? When? How? (In addition to responding to the Discussion Prompt, you must respond to one other classmate as well. Your Discussion response must be a minimum of 150 words, and your response to your classmate should be approximately 75-100 words.)
