List what you think are the most important cultural innovations of the first major civilizations, (Mesopotamia and Egypt), discussed in course materials. Now, pick one cultural innovation and discuss what you have learned about its early origins and history based on what is stated in what you’ve been assigned to read. Next, why do you regard this as such an important cultural innovation?
