Citizen Kane (1941)

Jojo Rabit (2018)

So to begin with, let’s discuss these trailers, whether or not you’ve seen the actual films yet. Keep in mind when each film was made and released as this is an important factor in how the trailers are constructed and the audience they are addressing.
For both trailers:
1. What are the expectations set up just by the trailer alone?
2. How are the trailers for Groundhog Day and Jojo Rabbit similar?
3. How are they distinct from Citizen Kane?
