Feedback loops, both positive and negative, are your body’s mechanism for maintaining homeostasis. For example, maintaining your internal body temperature requires feedback loops that involve your nervous system, circulatory system, skeletomuscular system and even integumentary system.

Include a minimum of one outside reputable source in addition to your course text.
Pick an element of your body that is maintained by homeostasis, and describe the feedback loops that maintain it. Be sure to discuss what the control center (integrator), receptor, and effectors are for the loops. Then think about, or research online, what diseases or syndromes may upset that particular element of homeostasis and the corresponding loops.
Khan Academy has a lesson (Links to an external site.) on several elements, including internal temperature, childbirth and blood sugar levels as an example. Please use a different one for your paper.
