● A comparison of the two theoretical explanations
● A brief explanation of a particular type of crime from EACH of your chosen theories
● A clear indication of the theoretical explanation that you think best explains this
crime in terms of its basic tenets and context(s);
● A discussion of the extent to which these explanations do, or do not, help you to
understand the genesis, prevalence, and manifestations of the type of crime you have chosen. This requires that you critique the theoretical explanations. In other words, is it, or is it not, helpful? Why? Why not? Which works best? Why?
