For the analysis essay, students will analyze the concept of Utopia/Dystopia developed in the short story “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas” by Ursula K. Le Guin
You must use the story and at least one PBSC database article to write the 1,000-word analysis essay.
We will group annotate the short story in Google Docs; students must sign in to their Google (Gmail account) in order to post comments.

Start sharing notes (annotating) on the characteristics of the Utopian development; in the draft of your own essay, you will be creating your own thesis that presents an analytical claim defining Utopia/Dystopia as it is relevant to LeGuin’s utopian theme.
