to shape your identity. It can be someone in your school, family, or
community. In a well-developed personal narrative essay, write about
how that person, event, or occurrence helped shape your identity. Use
dialogue, description, and pacing to enhance your writing.
Your essay must be five paragraphs in length: introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
You
will submit two drafts of this essay. Your first draft will be edited
by Mrs. Frazier. Once the draft is returned to you, you will make the
necessary corrections and submit a second draft. A grade will be
assigned to each draft.
