Choose one character strength that you believe has its origin of development with your family. Choose one that you believe has its origin with a school (or schools) you have attended. Choose one that you believe has its origin with your peer group. Lastly, choose one that you believe has its origin with the media. While the development of some character strengths may correlate with more than one agent of socialization; you must choose a separate strength for each agent of socialization. Use your best judgment when connecting a character strength with each agent of socialization.
Write a paper that explains exactly how the agent of socialization influenced the development of its corresponding character strength. State three specific examples of your life experiences which shaped the development of each character strength.
Use a separate paragraph for each of the four different character strengths when explaining their origin. Your final paragraph will be a summary of how your personal experience with the agents of socialization have together contributed to the development of these four character strengths.
