This assessment requires engaging critically with two films of a single filmmaker represented on the course. You may use any film on the course as a starting point for additional film sources. Your critical analysis should engage with the filmmaker’s work in relation to the aesthetic, ideological and historical realities of American cinema and Hollywood.
