Compare the Structure and Rationale, Aim and Key Ideas, Level Description and Strands, Content Descriptions, Achievement Standards of the F-10 Australian Curriculum for TWO different learning areas, of the same year level.
Tabulate your findings in the provided Double Map Template. Double Map Template. – Alternative Formats
Discuss key differences and similarities, based on your Double Map findings, and explain the implications for teaching and learning:
Explain which learning areas you are going to compare and which key differences and similarities between each learning area you are going to discuss.
Describe the most significant differences and similarities between your chosen Learning Areas.
Propose the implications for teaching and learning and the reasoning behind your ideas.
Discuss what this exercise has taught you and what is your understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
