Introduction
In Unit 3, you continue your work as the consultant hired to build a corporate social responsibility (CSR) plan for the organization you selected in Unit 1. You should revisit the Course Project document and your Units 1 and 2 project files before beginning this third component of your project.
Using your SWOT analysis as a knowledge base, develop your actual CSR proposal. For example, are you going to build a free health clinic in a depressed area of the city, support the local Food Bank, or become an environmentally green company? Give careful consideration to your proposal; it must add value and it must be sustainable. Your proposal must be supported with the following information:
Develop your CSR proposal
Explain how your proposal adds business value.
Include all stakeholders’ interests.
Describe how your proposal advances the company brand.
Elaborate on any compliance issues. For example: OSHA, labor laws, etc.
Include any risk management requirements.
Determine how you will implement the CSR plan to the company and any relevant stakeholders.
Include any training and support needs.
Include any techniques to generate and sustain stakeholder motivation.
Assume you have a budget of $35,000 to $50,000 for the first year. Develop a detailed budget.
Include any estimates for any additional infrastructure and equipment.
