The question I must answer in the essay is: “Give an example of something that you find boring or uninteresting and explain why other people find it exciting and engaging.”
My answer is “getting/receiving flower”
reasons:
1. Flowers are beautiful but when you cut them they die.
2. Flowers represent death to me. When someone dies, you send flowers (I’m not a dead person yet)
3. People spend so much money on flowers but what they don’t know is there is a significant environmental impact associated with the intensive farming of fresh flowers. large inputs of energy are required to grow the flowers on a huge scale-required by the consumer demands.
4. The carbon cost of transportation of flowers around the world.
