Strategic
Plan/CEO Project Instruction
The
CEO Project is designed for you to become consultants for the term and to
provide a major consulting product to your client in this case, a CEO of Netflix . First and foremost, the
project is meant to be fun, rewarding, and certainly informative. At this point
in your career, you are likely advising an organization at the strategic level
and YOUR vision and implementation skills will essentially steer the firm and
the lives of your employees.
As
consultants to the CEO
of Netflix, you will be responsible for preparing a
comprehensive strategic plan and delivering THE PLAN to the class. Netflix will serve as a working
case study throughout the term. You will perform a strategic analysis and
implementation plan of the Netflixs
general strategy to achieve its short and long-term goals and objectives. We
will use the Strategic Audit from our text in chapter 13.C as a guide to build
your grand strategy. See attached
Remember, you will be performing the
assignment from the perspective of the CEO and you will design a strategy that
takes into account every aspect of the Netflixs history, vision and
mission, market and financial positions, culture, and values.
Your
final deliverables include a ten minutes presentation as well as a major
narrative audit serving as the major capstone of the course.
