Have you used a fallacy? – Tell the truth

Have you used a fallacy? – Tell the truth
Our recent work presented 12 of the most commonly used fallacies. It is important to recognize how these fallacies are used in everyday circumstances (in social media, advertising, marketing, politics, etc.) to sway an audience. Just as important, we must look to ourselves to consider how we might use them (with family, friends, co-workers, etc.).
We discussed the following fallacies in class:
Ad Hominem
Argument to the People
Improper Authority
Argument for Consequences
Circular Reasoning
Hasty Generalization
Misleading Statistics
The Strawman
The Slippery Slope
No True Scotsman
Bandwagon
Syllogism
False Dilemma
Have you used any of those fallacies? Which is the one you use the most? Discuss your opinion as to whether you use the fallacy with intent or innocently (accidently)
