Your asked to assume the role of a consultant to a specific
country (Ethiopia)
Your task will be to examine the economic, political, social
and environmental state of the country, identify its most critical problems and
propose some steps toward their solutions. The analysis should draw from the
expertise you gain from class readings and discussions. The final report should
be from 7 to 9 pages in length, double-spaced, New Times Roman font 12 and
include references.
This 7 to 9 pages does not include your work cited/reference
page.
You should include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources. These scholarly resources must cccessible because I will check them throughly.
The Objective
As a consultant you have been asked by the leaders of your
country to answer the following general questions:
What are the major problems (e.g. poverty, environmental
devastation, health, social unrest, etc.) facing the citizens of the country?
What are the historical factors that led to the emergence of
these problems?
What is your estimate of the economic state of the country
and its future prospects?
In your estimation, what is the most significant problem and
what solutions might you offer?
You are, of course, free to go beyond these basic questions,
but the above questions should form the main body of your report.
