TS–Essay must have a clear and complete thesis statement that tells the term being defined and the writer’s definition of the term, and each body paragraph must have a clear topic sentence near the beginning of the body paragraph.
PTS–You must use the three parts of an essay—introduction, body, and conclusion.
TR–Paragraphs and some sentences must be connected with transitions and body paragraphs must be in a logical order (Logos
LGT–Introduction and body paragraphs should be 1/3 to ½ page long, and essay must be to bottom of page three
SD–There must be specific details, stories, and examples (Ethos/Pathos) to support and explain the term and to meet the length requirement.
