The owner of your company has asked you to create a
worksheet that calculates the units needed for break-even and target operating
income for your product Hawk.
Break-even and target operating income are
calculations that were covered in Acct 2020

10 of the Acct 3000 textbook

If you cannot remember how to calculate these,
then do an internet search for instructions on how to complete the calculations
Your worksheet must have user input cells for Hawks selling
price per unit, variable cost per unit, total fixed cost, and desired target operating
income.
Based on the user inputs, the owner wants to know the
break-even point in units, and the number of units that must be sold to earn
the targeted operating income.
Use the IFERROR function in the formula for the break-even calculation.

Enter user input amounts (makeup your own user input
amounts).
Test your workbook. In a Word document, provide a detailed
explanation of how you tested your workbook and state any errors that you found
during the testing process. Finding errors, so that they can be fixed, is a
good thing. If you found and fixed errors, it will NOT reduce your score.
Submit both your Excel and Word documents together in a
