For this assignment, you are asked to write an abstract (proportional summaries) on each of Michael Shurtleff’s 12 Guideposts within the book Audition: Everything an Actor Needs to Know to Get the Part. This paper should be no more than two (2) pages double spaced in length. This is an informal document and therefore requires no citations or works cited page. This assignment is worth 100 points of the total grade for the course.
The purpose of the assignment is not to reiterate the guideposts, but instead to simplify them into a more basic explanation based on your experience applying them to your monologues throughout the course.
