Make sure you put everything in your own words (do not copy the wording in the modules).

This assignment should be 2-3 pages, times new roman, double-spaced, with one inch margins.
Type the questions below directly, and type your answer below each question.

1. Choose three drugs (module 1) and describe, in your own words, how they affect the individual.
2. Choose the mouse examples of those drugs (module 4), and in your own words, describe how those drugs work in their brains. (You must choose three drugs here, so if the drugs you chose in 1. aren’t represented, choose others.)
3. List the neurotransmitters involved in drug use (modules 2 & 3) and describe how each neurotransmitter is involved in addiction.
4. Describe the long-term addiction-related changes to the brain (all modules).
5. Describe the similarities and differences between the ways cocaine, amphetamines, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, and heroin affect the central nervous system. Be specific and make multiple comparisons (all modules).
6. Once we understand how the brain works, what recommendations would you make for the treatment for drug addiction (i.e., what would an ideal rehabilitation facility look like)?
