Students will submit an annotated bibliography. In this, you will identify at least 6-8 peer-reviewed published journal articles (not news articles, websites, books, etc…) that are related to your research question. At the top of the document, please restate your research question or topic before including your references and annotations. You will then state each source in APA format and summarize the source in a brief paragraph. The paragraph for each source should state how it relates to answering the research question asked. For example, you might say what the researchers studied, how they studied it, and what they found. You should summarize each article with potential gaps or limitations from the study, as relevant, to help make clear how the current research proposal can build on prior research and address something not already known.
Your document should be formatted in APA format. As such, your document should be double-spaced, 12-point font, with 1-inch margins. Do not write in the first person.
Below I attached my research proposal, but I got feedback and my professor said the topic was too broad so I needed to make it more specific, so let’s focus on one race, African Americans and the Death Penalty.
