If you select an organization, you should discuss how the organization is structured (positions, roles), the characteristics of those involved in the organization, the kinds of activities the organization is engaged in, the impact this organization has had on aging and society, and how the organizations activities have been supported or challenged by society. You should discuss why this organization exists and it functions. Be sure to use relevant theories and concepts from class in your discussion.
The profile paper must be 3 pages long, single space, 12 point font, with 1 inch margins. The 3 pages do not include the title page and reference pages, which are required. You will print a hard copy of the paper and any references used, and turn them into me in person in class on April 11. No double submissions allowed for this paper. You cannot use the case I profile in class to illustrate the paper as your paper topic. Paper pages must be stapled together. 5 references must be used or points will be lost. For each page the paper is short of 3 pages, 20 points will be lost.
