Air transport economics – The effects of safety and security protocol on consumer satisfaction

2,000 word requirement is BEFORE data and figures. At least 3 of the sources need to be peer reviewed articles. At least 1 must be a data set of some sort. I put 6 required sources to be more thorough. I normally cite upwards of 15, but I can add those later if needed.

The paper itself needs to be data analysis heavy. Data specific cause and effect, change over time, changes in response to major events, etc. Most of the articles I’ve found haven’t had a whole lot of data to pull from. This has been the challenging part.

Data found of the FAA website, ICAO website, and Bureau of transportation statistics have been decent.

A major points I HOPED to include was the before and after 9/11 and the creation of the TSA. However, the data pre-9/11 is either nonexistent or not on topic. So I’m at a loss for that one, but possibly you’ll have an idea of where to go based on my initial intent.

Refererence the uploaded documents: This paper will likely be “empirical” in nature.
I will NOT be expecting the hired writer to generate a suitible hypothesis. Rather analyze past vs. current statitisics and correlate satisfaction with airline performance in regards to safety/security.

The “Air Travel Consumer Report” is a monthly report that goes back to 1998. I planned to use this as a major data set for my paper. The section for “Causes for delay” and the types, one being “security delay” would be vaulable. The link to the achived report is here:

Regarding complaints, the report states “The report does not include safety complaints (which are handled by the Federal Aviation
Administration) or security complaints (which are handled by the Transportation Security Administration)”.
So the referenced sites should be used to gather some of the relevant data as well.
