Alternative or Complementary Care
We’ve all seen the words “complementary” and “alternative,” but what do they really mean? Define the two types of therapies and discuss the differences. Describe the different approaches used in complementary therapy, such as nutritional, psychological or physical. Select 2 approaches and explain the therapy as well in what situations this therapy may be used.
Rules for Discussion Questions:
Read and respond to the discussion by Wednesday evening of the week that the discussion is posted. Respond to 2 other students discussion by Friday of the same week. Responses should not be “I agree with your statement” and nothing else. It should be a substantive response, explaining your thoughts about the other student’s comments.
