Your writing assignment is to write a paper regarding a controversial topic in one of the chapters of the textbook. Research this topic further using the many sources available to you in the Electronic Databases available on the Monroe College website. You may use newspaper articles, journal articles, case law summaries, and other relevant sources. Your assignment is to write a term paper, at least five (5) pages(not including title page or list of references), typewritten, double-spaced, discussing the topic thoroughly. It must be written in Times Roman font, 12-point with one-inch margins, and submitted through Blackboard. Do not just copy verbatim from the textbook. Write about the topic in a way that expands on what was included in the textbook. You can use the sources listed in the textbook to guide you (and other sources). Your term paper should include an introductory paragraph, one or more paragraphs discussing the topic, an analysis of the topic, and your conclusion. You MUST cite your sources properly at the end of the paper in a bibliography or with footnotes. Please use the APA format. You must submit it through Dropbox which will appear on Blackboard, not a hard copy. You are required to familiarize yourselves with Blackboard and how to submit work through this module. “Safe Assign” will be enabled to check for the originality of content.
