Wanted Sign Your final assignment will entail more creativity than the other course assignments. Review the instructions for this Wanted Poster carefully. Then submit your assignment through the submission link by the specified due date. As with all assignments that you complete, you are expected to do your own work and cite when referencing information from outside sources. The key to being successful with this assignment is following the instructions and being creative. Instructions We have studied several individuals who made significant contributions during the times of Ancient Civilizations. Select an individual from one of these time periods. You will create a Wanted Poster for this individual. Be sure to choose wisely. If you choose someone very famous, other students may do the same, so I may compare the best with the worst You may use any design software to create your poster including but not limited to: Canva (Links to an external site.) Piktochart (Links to an external site.) postermywall (Links to an external site.) Adobe Spark (Links to an external site.) Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word You are not required to purchase any design software in order to complete this assignment, though some websites may require you to create an account. Required Information The information on your one-page poster must include: A Mug Shot (or photo of your individual) Your selected individual’s first and last name (include any aliases) The individual’s birth date and death date (include the years) The individual’s country or area of birth and the place where they completed most of their work (country, state, region, city, etc.) An explanation of why this individual is wanted and who is searching for the individual. What did this individual do in his/her life? Why might a person, a group of people, or an entity be searching for this individual? The key is to be creative using actual facts from the individual’s life. Write this explanation in 6-8 complete sentences using your own words. Do not merely summarize this individual’s life or accomplishments. Do some research on this individual and try to incorporate specific details about the individual into your poster. Be sure to note what the person did in his/her lifetime. And, what is the reward for finding this person? An interesting fact about the individual or a quote by the individual, is good.
