I would like you to analyse the financial statement for BGC Ltd. Financial statement attached.
Task 1:
Prepare a report for the directors of BGC Ltd discussing the performance, liquidity, and solvency of the company over a minimum of the last two years.

You should prepare the following ratios for both of the years which you have chosen to analyse:

Gross profit margin
Net profit margin
Return on capital employed
Acid test / quick ratio
Inventory days
Gearing ratio
Current ratio
Receivables days
Payables days
Interest Cover
You may show your answers to task 1 as a table.

Task 2

Write a brief report (500 words) which looks at the performance of the company, looking at the following areas:

Profitability
Liquidity
Solvency
Investor ratios
You may include visual aids, graphs, tables etc to illustrate your report. You do not need to comment on all the ratios you have calculated.

You should include an executive summary and a conclusion to your report. You are not required to make any recommendations in this submission.
