Analysis of survey and report

Qualitative phenomenological analysis of survey results that try to answer the following questions:

Which leadership approach, transactional or transformational, is the best at promoting organizational effectiveness from the perspective of the healthcare leader.

Which leadership approach, transactional or transformational, is the best at motivating an employee to exert extra effort.

Which leadership approach, transactional or transformational, is the best at ensuring maximum employee satisfaction, thus ensuring employee retention.

The data analysis technique that will be used to analyze participants’ open-ended
responses will be thematic analysis method. The procedure will include coding the information,
recognizing and looking into the critical concerns of the exploration (Aguinis & Solarino, 2019).

The NVivo qualitative data analysis software will be used, where researcher will seek to
explore the kinds of connections, naturally occurring between transformational and transactional
leadership approaches and employee satisfaction, corporate effectiveness, and the willingness of
an employee to exert extra effort while at work (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). Nvivo will help
organize, code, classify and arrange the information gathered. The factors perceived to affect the
rate of employee turnover through this research, will aim to single out the best leadership
approach.

The thematic analysis method will be used in order to minimize bias, as well as memo
writings to keep thoughts fresh in the researcher’s mind, to serve as reflection aides (Birks &
Mills, 2011). Principal investigator will use data from Gallup (if needed)–to help support the
interpretation study findings.
Investigator will perform the analysis with the assistance of NVivo technology. Once the
study process is concluded, the results of the procedure will be interpreted and a report prepared
for publication.
