Write an original analysis of Frankenstein using outside sources to defend and support your thesis.
For this analysis, you will
1) Assert a definite opinion or theory about a chosen aspect of the story
2) Defend/prove this opinion by supplying pertinent evidence from the story and outside academic sources.
Follow MLA formatting for parenthetical documentation for primary and secondary sources.
Do not use “I” in this more formal literary analysis paper.
Use the text to support your thesis.
Provide a “Works Cited” page
Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is to analyze Frankenstein, present a claim, and persuade your audience to accept your claim as viable. You will present a particular thesis (argument/claim) regarding the reading and prove it through textual examples and outside academic sources.
Audience:
Assume that I am your audience and that I have read the story you are writing about. Do not provide a plot summary of the story—only draw upon the story’s content as required in your attempt to defend / illustrate your points.
Requirements:
This paper should be AT LEAST FIVE PAGES LONG BUT NO LONGER THAN TEN PAGES. It should contain an introductory paragraph ending in a thesis statement, all your body paragraphs should begin with a topic sentence and contain evidence from the short story and/or your research to defend your thesis. Your paper must use at least five outside academic sources and include a Works Cited page in MLA format.
p.s you dont have to use this as your topic but my teacher meantioned the toipic of doing your paper over weather or not the monsters considered human or not and if so what makes him human and i thought it sounded like a good topic but again you can choose whatever you want i just need an A.
