Analyze the narrative of film

Paper 1, Film Analysis:
Using one of the movies from the following list, analyze the narrative structure, point of view
used, and at least two characters from the film (pages 122 – 135 in
Looking at Movies)
. Be sure
your analysis is complete, giving clear evidence and analysis of that evidence to prove your
assertions, and be sure to use the language of the chapter (round, flat, antagonist, goals, etc.).
For narrative structure, make sure to address all elements (normal world, inciting incident, etc.).
Organization-wise, it is acceptable to have a series of short paragraphs with each one covering
one element.
This section of the textbook is short, but it provides information that will be valuable for the
remainder of the semester. Please be sure to engage fully with the readings and to bring critical
thinking to bear in your analysis of the film.
Length: 3 – 4 pages, typed, double-spaced, MLA format.
