In this course, you learned about international politics and how it effects your daily lives. We have learned new terminology, new theories and new ways to evaluate and analysis international and domestic policies. When political and economic events are occurring in the United States or other nation/states, we have a better understanding of what the impact could be internationally. We discussed the significance of knowing more than one story of what is going on and being aware of who is telling the story. In the class project you were given the opportunity to research world challenges and share those findings and solutions with each other.
The skills and knowledge that we learn in each of our courses can be beneficial to our everyday life if we reflect on what have learned.
Part Two of the Final Exam will be in essay format, 300-400 words in APA format. Please upload your essay on to canvas. It is due on Saturday, February 5 before 11:59 pm.

Take some time to go back to the first day of class and consider where you were at the start of this class – what you knew about Contemporary World Affairs, and what you thought. Explain what you have learned about Contemporary World Affairs. Define international politics. Give details on your thinking or the learning processes, as you revisit the significance of the stories you know about the world. Do you need to make changes to your perceptions or stories of the many nation/states, if so, how?
How does international relationships and globalization affect the world? What are the major challenges? How has the role of colonization transformed the nation/states into international actors? How would you analyze the impact of the important political events that are occurring in our world today, such as terrorism, threat of war, disasters, arms control, change in leadership, domestic crisis, threat to democracy, the threat of democracy, economic crisis, pandemic, human rights or the economic growth of the Asian Tigers, etc.? Why is it important to know who the major actors are – leaders, media, interest groups, governments, public opinion, foreign policies, international policies, transnational corporations, international nongovernmental organizations, international organizations? How important is the economic structuralist, constructivist, and feminine approaches to making policy changes?
Analyze the value of what you have learned in this class and connect it with your future educational or career goals. Reflect on what topic, assignment or nation/state left an impact on you and why? It could be positive or negative. Identify one thing that you learned this semester that you feel could have an effect on your community? And, in conclusion, what did you enjoy about the class and what would you like to see changed to make the class better?
