Each student must prepare a research paper on some aspect of the material covered in this course – such as a specific
issue related to some DSM-5 disorder (not simply a general description of a disorder). Topics can be chosen from material discussed in the textbook or during lecture. I advise students to meet with or at least email me to discuss their topic. The paper must have at least three references from a professional psychology journal, or book, or qualified internet sources (textbook references will not be accepted). Length of the paper should be approximately 5 pages, 12-point font, double spaced with an additional cover and Reference page. Late papers will be penalized 10% off final grade for each day late.
