Please, I am trying to appeal for my financial aid because I am jobless/unemployed, and just graduated with my associate degree. I am applying for 4 years bachelor’s degree in BAT Bachelor of science.
Cybersecurity, I applied for jobs so far no luck,
they emailed me that my current financial aid satisfactory academic progress status is “exceeds Maximum program hours and that I should appeal for an extension of max hours/4 years into the bachelor of applied science degree.
a. Explain the rare, extenuating circumstances that caused me to exceed 150% of the published length of my program
b. Include the steps you have taken or will take, personally and academically, to prevent any future circumstances from allowing you to complete within the requested extension of hours.
Explain that since I am jobless/unemployed, I will not be able to pay my tuition. Also, I got my associate degree this spring Semester 2021. and my GPA is in great standing. While I was taking an associate degree, I had some circcircumstancese. I took some courses that I believed are required for my associate degree because I was unfamiliar with the college audit checks system and pathway classes until recently. I could not take some classes until I passed the TSI test. That’s why I reached max hours.
