This article makes it clear that elderly people are the most vulnerable group in regards to infection and death by COVID-19. Yet, we’ve learned in class that folks have less mobility and accessibility as they age. And new variants that have emerged in the past few months infect younger people at very high rates. Are younger people being discriminated against when elderly communities are prioritized to receive COVID-19 vaccinations?
