2. What methods were used:
– Where and how did the authors get their data? What data set? Geographic location? In-depth interview data?
– Provide an overview of the sample – How does the sample relate to the purpose of the study? In other words; Are the right people being sampled? For instance, in some samples certain groups can be over or under represented.
– Do the questions asked (variables) of the respondents or participants seem appropriate given the study’s focus or purpose? In your opinion should other variables have been included in the study? If so, why?
3. Briefly review the study findings and discuss in relation to the study’s purpose and methods.
