Assimilation to new society and whether it is worth losing who you are in order to assimilate to that new culture

talk about the difficulties of assimilating to a society (you can use any country as an example) and talk about how people who assimilate to new cultures offten have differences in ethics, values and morals and so they often clash. usually foreigners are then encouraged to think the way the people around them think and let go of values they have in order to assimilate with others peacefully.
