The student will explore a topic that they have selected dealing with a narrow question about a
catastrophic event in history. I chose Auschwitz.
The paper will be:
– typed, double spaced
– the bibliography of sources will appear on the last pages (not part of the 5 pages)
– you must use and cite at least three sources including one academic monographic source and
you must use at least one example of primary evidence.
– Grades will be based on the student’s ability to use original sources to support an
interpretation, their use of library materials and overall presentation (grammar, organization,
spelling).
