Make a comparison of the population demographics in the New
World compared to what was seen in Europe pre-conquest.
What are the resources available to Native Populations in the
New World opposed to Europe and what access does the general population
have to these resources?
After watching this video, list what ethnocentric views existed
in Europe that would affect most interactions with native populations on
conquest.

physical and a political map?

Locate this physical map of the United States and examine it
carefully, making note of the mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, and deserts.

Study the map and carefully note the Cultural Groups and Trade
Routes.
Answer the following questions:

According to the map, which of the cultural groups
would have engaged in agriculture?
Did most trade routes run North/South or East/West?
What is the most plausible explanation for this?
On the eve of European contact, Native American
tribes spread across the North American continent and encompassed a range
of different cultures, languages, and religious beliefs. Trade goods
exchanged among these diverse groups furnished avenues of communication
across the continent. According to this map, which geographic features
presented barriers to trade? Which geographic features would have
facilitated trade?

Formatting

The paper should be 1 – 2 pages in length
Double space and use Times New Roman font size 12

Why would you use correlational research only when you could do an experiment?

Answer the following questions:
1. What is descriptive research? Give an example. (2 points)
2. What is correlational research? Give an example. (2 points)
3. What is experimental research? Give an example. (2 points)
4. Why would you use correlational research only when you could do an experiment? Give an example of a particular subject which could only be correlated. (2 points)
5. What is the standard deviation? What is the symbol in statistics for standard deviation? (2 points)
6. Why can’t you consider causation with correlational research? What is one example of another variable that might be present and what might this variable be called? (2 points)
7. What is the correlational efficient? Give an example of a strong correlational coefficient. (2 points)
8. Find an online article that reports a correlational claim. Identify four common-causal variables that may play a role in the correlation. (4 points)—–you may just paste the url of the article and list the 4 common-causal variables
9. Describe a topic that interests you and how you would use three methods of descriptive research to study that topic. (3 points)

Identify one or two major discoveries or advances of the period and explain how these contributed to the change in worldview.

Topic: History, science, and the biblical worldview
In the chapter on the Scientific Revolution, the textbook emphasizes the change in worldview that resulted from the Scientific Revolution. Consider the ways in which this change might affect the perceived relationship between science and religion. Use the textbook as well as other course materials related to this topic.
Identify one or two major discoveries or advances of the period and explain how these contributed to the change in worldview.
How do the authors of your textbook address the relationship between science and religion? Evaluate their interpretation using evidence and sound reasoning.
How might a biblical worldview impact the relationship between science and religion?
[N.B. Remember that the word religion encompasses a broader scope than just Christianity.]

Introduction (1-2 pages)
Write an introduction to your research paper. This section should include the following two parts: an
introduction to the general topic of the paper as well as an outline of how the rest of the paper is structured. For
example, if you were to write a paper on marital communication, you could start out by defining the institution
of marriage, discuss when and why it emerged historically, and then explain that it is a universal phenomenon.
Literature Review (8-9 pages)
Write a comprehensive review of what research has discovered about your topic. Break up the literature review
into multiple sub-sections with headings that are devoted to particular sub-topics. Make sure that it is logically
organized. Briefly summarize the literature on the basis of the most important findings from each sub-section.
The summary is a sub-section unto itself.
Once you have completed this comprehensive review, introduce the reader to one sub-topic on which either
nothing or very little is known. For example, if you were to write a paper on marital communication, it is
possible that nothing or only little is known about whether men and women marry for different reasons. Discuss
why that is an important sub-topic. Take that sub-topic and formulate an actual research question. Going back to
our example, your research question could be: “To what extent do men and women marry for different
reasons

Explain both the geographical and political results of Versailles and other treaties, and how these might have contributed to laying the seeds for World War II.

For this week’s discussion, please consider the following questions in crafting your response. You may wish to have a look at the following two map resources in thinking about some of these questions: Empires before World War I and Europe in 1920.
In the aftermath of World War I, who defined the terms of the peace? Explain both the geographical and political results of Versailles and other treaties, and how these might have contributed to laying the seeds for World War II. A French general once said that the Treaty of Versailles was not a peace but a “20 year armistice” – do you agree with this statement? Why did peace ultimately fail? Be sure to elaborate on the most salient reasons you see for the rise of fascism, Nazism and Stalinism, using your readings to support your interpretation. Be sure to cite from our primary source readings this week, which include the Treaty of Versailles, and writings by Hitler and Mussolini.

Explain the social significance of the behaviors selected and the anticipated impact the interventions will have on targeted behaviors.

Assignment: submit a literature review demonstrating the empirical evidence of the effectiveness of the interventions you will utilize to address the three (3) behaviorsyou are targeting in your goals. Include information on the social significance of the behaviors selected and what impact you anticipate the intervention having on your targeted behaviors. Be sure that your literature review meets APA 7 guidelines for submission.

This is a two part assignment: 1) provide a literature review for the article attached labeled pits, use the instructions below to format the review and part 2- use the information from the second attached document labeled BIP3 ( rewrite preferrably) to incorporate with literature review.

Instruction for part 1.

1-Provides a brief description of the independent variable(s)/intervention used (3 pts), dependent variable measurese, experimental design, and results .
2-Include literature of interventions that will address each of the three behavior that will be targeted.
3-Explain the social significance of the behaviors selected and the anticipated impact the interventions will have on targeted behaviors

What ideological importance does Kenneth’s footlocker have in the resolution?

On page 134 of the book, Wilson states “The final and most significant crisis is referred to as the climax.” The climax can resolve the issues of the play either happily, unhappily or without clear resolution. Theatrical resolution is defined as ‘the final outcome of a sequence of conflicting events, the action of solving a problem or controversial matter, the tying up of loose ends which might include an ideological closure.’
Clybourne Park’s resolution clearly begins after the final climax of Act II where everyone exits after the last argument and Dan brings in the footlocker and begins to read Kenneth’s suicide letter. The space changes back to before the beginning of Act I; the morning Kenneth killed himself which set all the action and conflict in motion for Act I. It is a small scene but has much to say about the play and the many themes and issues in the script.
If a resolution is the final outcome of events, the tying up of loose ends that might include an ideological closure, then what is the meaning of Clybourne Park’s resolution? Please state your interpretation of the resolution of the play. Be sure to use clear examples and cite all sources.
Things to consider:
Why does the resolution go back to before Act I?
Why do we see Kenneth for the first time?
Why does Beth naively think that things are going to change for the better?
What ideological importance does Kenneth’s footlocker have in the resolution? Why is the footlocker buried in Act I and ‘dug’ up and opened in Act II, essentially releasing Kenneth’s spirit? Why does opening the footlocker start the resolution of the play?
What is the playwright saying about the theme of the play; discrimination (racial, gender, class, etc.)?
