This discussion should be answered based on your concentration field or based on your general interest in a psychological disorder.
Is it possible for all raters to score the same 100% all of the time on a human judgement rating scale?
Describe at least two of the advantages and disadvantages associated with behavioral observation techniques with examples.
Discuss inter-rater reliability and inconsistencies with this technique.
Explain the observed test score and random, systematic, standard, and other sources of error that are inherent in testing measures.
Provide an example on how systematic error (which is considered error that is typically constant and proportional to what is presumed to be the true value of the variable being measured) will not affect score consistency.
An example of systematic error could be a scoring timer that chimes at 62 seconds instead of 60 seconds — making the timer off by 2 seconds each time it is used, which would be a constant if this timer were used for all subjects.
Lastly, explain the differences between homogeneity (how a test measures a single trait) and heterogeneity (how a test measures several traits or different factors) for any assessment tests that you reviewed.
Bonding Through Branding
OD_20210607M_HSM322_1AssignmentsWeek 3 Assignment – Bonding Through Branding
Career Relevancy
The brand of an organization is what makes it recognizable in the marketplace. Customers need to be able to distinguish one provider from another. The company’s brand is the marks or logo or symbol that is recognizable. The main purposes of branding are to ensure that products can be identified, to encourage repeat sales, and to sell new products. When a brand is easily recognizable, then we say it has brand equity. Within the healthcare industry, in particular, branding gives individual organizations a way to better represent themselves and make a lasting impact.
Background
Differentiating the Brand
Companies can pursue branding in different ways by employing a private brand, a family brand, or individual brands. It may be a little more difficult to think of these strategies in healthcare, but if you consider a company like Johnson & Johnson, that offer all types of healthcare products, you can see that they would want to brand their pharmaceutical products in a unique way that would differentiate them from than their line of baby products or medical devices.
The importance of branding in the healthcare industry cannot be overstated, as consumers have so much choice these days. One example is the cost of conducting medical tests— there are now independent labs that may offer the same services for a lower cost. In addition, many hospitals are merging with other healthcare services, which then causes confusion on the part of the consumer. Organizations have to determine how they will position their brand in the consumer’s mind, and that means making their purpose and design as unique as possible.
Healthy Relationships
One of the primary drivers of developing customer loyalty in healthcare is developing a relationship with the consumer. Making healthcare decisions can be difficult for people. If an organization is able to develop a relationship with them, then it creates “stickiness” whereby the customer becomes loyal to the organization. Satisfied customers are the best way to create repeat sales. Once customers are loyal, they can become brand advocates who will sing the praises of a product or service. Building brand loyalty can also be extremely satisfying, as it helps create a clear bridge between the consumer and employees—a simple bond between product, service, and consumer.
While there are many things to consider when building this kind of relationship with consumers, one thing is of the greatest importance: simplicity. As noted by the associate editor of Healthcare Finance, Jeff Lagasse, “a convoluted message won’t connect with consumers, and it will make it more difficult to get senior leadership on board (Lagasse, 2018).” This is of particular note, as successful branding involves the commitment of everyone involved. While the end-consumer provides the ultimate representation of success, if employees and senior members are not behind the brand there can be problems with the overall marketing plan.

20th Century Art History Research Paper ~ Thesis Statement
Thesis for an essay over 20th Century Art History related to Cubism
Your thesis statement should present a well thought-out and concise assertion of your understanding of the topic you chose (usually in 1 – 2 sentences in the introduction or near the beginning of the essay), thereby providing your essay with its critical focus. It should offer a well thought-out central idea rather than an overtly argumentative statement.
The evidence (primary and secondary sources) you provide for your thesis will include your interpretation, analysis, and description of the characteristics of works of art and texts, and must at all times relate to your thesis.
Procedure
1. Create a thesis statement for your final paper. This statement will guide your research for the final paper. It should focus on an artist, work of art, or art movement that primarily developed in the 20th century.
2. If your thesis statement centers on a specific work of art, obtain an image and include it with your thesis statement.
3. Use the book called, A Short Guide to Writing About Art by Sylvan Barnett for a sample and information on what a thesis statement is within a research paper.
BREACH A NORM
Breach-A-Norm Assignment: Students are asked to engage in an exercise of breaking an accepted rule (or norm) in society. Examples of these breaching experiments will be given in class.
Therefore, you will be conducting the breach a norm from outside your home or within your home! Get creative! Trust me, you can break several norms without leaving where you reside and there are plenty to break when out and about!
If you are going to conduct outside the home please adhere to being respectful as many individuals have not yet acclimated to the changes that are occurring due to the changes as of June 15th. For the time being I do not want norms to be broken that will directly affect people such as crowding them in line, for example.
Additionally, please make sure that the norm you are breaking has occurred during the duration of being in the course. NO PREVIOUS experiences. Thank you.
The experiment should not negatively affect the physical or spiritual health of the student or observers.
Following the exercise, students will write an essay of two pages full in length that is typed and double-spaced.
The essay should incorporate answers to the following questions:
1). What is the norm that you are breaking? How did you choose to breach this particular
norm? What is the underlying value behind this norm?
2). What were the reaction of others? How did you understand the reactions
sociologically?
3). What was your personal reaction to breaching the norm? What are your reflections for
why this type of exercise is important?
4) Use one of the 3 Sociological Theories in Sociology (Conflict, Functionalist or Symbolic Interactionism) to explain how they would view the norm that you broke. Would they find it harmful or beneficial to society and why?
5) Sociological Analysis: Expand on your observations, analyze sociological terms from the textbook that seem relevant to the norm that you broke. Sociological terms should be highlighted in BOLD and should also include a definition of the term followed up in your own words how the term you selected relates to your experience in breaking the norm. You must use at least 6 sociological terms in your assignment.
